Oxford Model Flying club (OMFC) was formed in 1969 and caters for many different disciplines both RC and free flight, outdoors and indoors. OMFC welcomes new members.

The club’s principal flying site is Port Meadow on the outskirts of Oxford, accessed from the Godstow Car park. Our activities on the site, which is a public open space are licensed by the Freemen of the City of Oxford

Only OMFC members and their guests are permitted to fly on the site

Flying on Port Meadow is arranged on an informal basis. The club has a WhatsApp group that enables members to meet up for flying and also acts as a lively club forum for help and advice. More information about flying at Port Meadow maybe found here

The club holds monthly evening meetings at Begbroke Village Hall. Details of these may be found here

The club also publishes a quarterly Newsletter, Meadow Flyer, with news and articles by members, many of which also write for the modelling press. Editions of the Meadow Flyer may be found below
